A companion for those who prefer to grow slowly rather than escape quickly.

Deep Source Blue Lotus is a symbol of beauty rising from the depths.

Our whole dried Nymphaea caerulea flowers are offered as a slow botanical ally, something to work with gently, intentionally and without expectation of an immediate or dramatic effect.

Across different traditions, Blue Lotus has been associated with ritual, meditation, dreamwork, sensuality and quiet contemplation. Its appeal is less about intensity and more about subtlety.

Some people describe the experience as calming, reflective or slightly dreamlike. Others notice only a gentle shift in mood or mental pace. Blue Lotus does not tend to announce itself. Its effects, when noticed, are often described as soft and gradual.

That is part of why we value the whole flower.

No extracts. No additives. No attempt to turn it into something more aggressive than it is.

Just the dried flower in its simplest form... for tea, traditional use, quiet evenings, meditation or personal ritual.

A flower of presence, inner reflection and quiet renewal.

HOW TO WORK WITH WHOLE FLOWERS

Blue Lotus is best approached simply.

There is no need to overcomplicate the preparation or chase a particular experience. Start gently, give it time, and notice how you respond.

As Tea

Steep 1–2 whole flowers in hot water for around 10–15 minutes, then strain.

You can drink it plain or add honey or citrus to taste.

This is the most straightforward way to work with the whole flower and a good place to start if you are new to Blue Lotus. The experience is often described as subtle, so there is little benefit in rushing or using more than you need.

As Incense

Dried petals can be burned on charcoal or added to a loose incense blend.

The aroma is light, floral and earthy. For many people, the value here is less about effect and more about atmosphere and creating a clear transition into meditation, reading, journalling or a quieter part of the evening.

In a Bath

Add a small handful of flowers directly to warm bathwater or prepare a strong infusion first and add the strained liquid to the bath.

Used this way, Blue Lotus becomes more of a sensory ritual: warm water, scent, colour and a slower pace.

It is a simple way to make an ordinary evening feel more deliberate without turning it into something overly ceremonial.

As a Meditation or Reflection Aid

Whole flowers can also be kept nearby during meditation, journalling or quiet reflection.

There is no claim that simply holding the flower creates a pharmacological effect. The value is in using it as a physical reminder to slow down, pay attention and create some space around what you are doing.

Start Slowly

Blue Lotus affects people differently, and some people notice very little.

If drinking it as tea, begin with a small amount and see how you respond before increasing it. More is not necessarily better, especially with a botanical that is valued for its subtlety.

The aim is not to force an experience. It is to work with the flower slowly enough to notice what it adds.

ORIGIN & SOURCING

Our Blue Lotus is grown by a cooperative working with small family farms in Buriram and Korat provinces in northeast Thailand.

Cultivation: Grown in ponds without chemical fertilisers.

Harvest: Flowers are hand-harvested.

Drying: Sun-cured and solar-tunnel dried.

Supply chain: We source directly from the cooperative rather than through multiple intermediaries.

The cooperative is a member of the Small Farmers Green Association (SFGA).

We do not market these flowers as certified organic. Third-party organic certification is separate from the growing methods described above.

STORAGE

Keep the flowers sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

A sealed container stored in a dark cupboard is ideal.

For best quality, use within approximately 12–18 months. Aroma and other plant compounds may gradually decline during extended storage.
